AIDAN SEARLE x founder/art director
Aidan Searle is a multi-disciplinary artist, graphic designer, and art director. He’s the co-founder of Hood+Searle, where he creates bold, thoughtful brand identities and packaging for premium food and beverage brands.
His obsession with creativity also led him to found Partner Skateboards, a “stupid small” art-forward skateboard company from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Partner blends skateboarding, outsider art, and hand-made graphics, with Aidan designing nearly everything himself and keeping it proudly independent and inclusive. As an art director at Somewheres, Aidan brings the same curiosity, craft, and hands-on approach to brand work that he does to his own art. Before his design career, he worked as a professional chef, moving to the UK at 18 to cook, an experience that shaped his connection to food and informs his work with food-focused brands today.
